Free delivery is offered to anyone in the KC area within 20 miles of the Circle Auction office for items weighing less than 200lb. Delivery will take place Wednesday, Aug. 9th. Free delivery is to your doorstep or garage. Sign up for free delivery here.

Modern + Contemporary

July 2023, Circle Auction presented Contemporary + Modern, an online auction featuring 20th and 21st century paintings, prints, sculpture, and modern design.

The auction features modern design including Herman Miller designs by Charles and Ray Eames and George Nelson; Knoll designs by Warren Platner, Jens Risom, Harry Bertoia, and Marcel Breuer; Isamu Noguchi for Akari and Vitra, Joe Colombo for Kartell, Edward Wormley for Dunbar, Paul McCobb Planner Group, Hans Wegner, Vladimir Kagan, Milo Baughman, Thomas Moser, Peter Lovig Nielsen, Kipp Stewart, and Pace Collection.

Art highlights include a pair of original Val Bertoia Sonambient sounding sculptures, an original 1920’s oil by Alfred Maurer, two signed serigraphs by Joseph Albers, two signed lithographs by Alexander Calder, a collection of large scale paintings by Nick Vaccaro, a Richard Corben sculpture, several original works by Cleve Gray and Nicolas Africano, and pieces by artists including Yayoi Kusama, Duran, Salvador Dali, Ken Ferguson, and Ian Young.
